Web site hosting is the function of storing your web site for access by anyone on the internet. For the technically minded
we have described our hosting environment below. For those less technical be assured our hosting setup is one of the most
advanced available at any price anywhere in the world.Once we have completed the design and construction of your web site there are two additional processes required for your potential prospects to be able to see it. Firstly your domain name must be registered with Internic, secondly your web site must be moved to a web server for hosting services. We take care of both of these functions for you. Unlike many companies, you will not receive additional invoices for domain name registration, we provide and include this service as part of our hosting fee - A total solution. At any time you can view reports detailing the "traffic" and visitor information for your site. You will be able to see the actual number of visitors to your web site by hour, day and month. You will also be able to see how they found your web site, which search engine they used and which pages they visited. Please review our section on "Marketing" to learn more about how traffic to your web site can be generated and the number of prospective client contacts can be increased. Hosting - Technical DescriptionOur Managed Hosting service provides the world-class infrastructure necessary to maintain your web site 24x7. We operate our primary Cisco-powered data center out of San Antonio, TX and secondary data centers in Data centers are located in Fort Myers, Boca Raton, Baltimore and San Bernadino. Our data centers have been engineered to avoid any single point of failure in our connectivity, power, or HVAC. Because our data centers are not open to the public, you can rest assured that only a handful of highly trained, level-three technicians will be allowed within close physical proximity to the server hosting your web site.Conditioned PowerPower systems in data centers are designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) power that will run if utility power fails. The UPS power subsystem is N+1 redundant with instantaneous failover in case the primary UPS fails. In the event of an extended power outage, an on-site diesel generator can run indefinitely. The generator is regularly tested to ensure that it will continue to function in the event of an emergency.Precision EnvironmentData centers are meticulously tidy. All air is circulated and filtered every 90 seconds to remove dust and contaminants. The data center's HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) system is N+1 redundant to ensure that - even in the event of an entire HVAC system failure - there is a duplicate system on standby to take over. An advanced fire-suppression system is in place to prevent any fire from spreading - in the unlikely event that one could start. All cables to servers and routing equipment are securely tied down, and cable racks suspended from the ceiling provide dual routes for all cables. In the event that all cables on a cable rack are cut or burned, packets of data will automatically be routed to a second set of cables on the other side of the data center.Connectivity
We utilize connections to multiple backbones to ensure that data reaches the end-user in the fastest, most efficient
manner possible. We also have peering agreements with local ISPs to allow fast delivery of packets when possible.Bandwidth UtilizationThe Network currently has plenty of excess capacity, even during peak hours. This allows for us to accommodate even the largest spikes in traffic that are often associated with the most popular Web sites. We are always adding network connectivity and new routes in an effort to make sure content is delivered to your users as efficiently as possible. A low bandwidth utilization also allows for maximum uptime, even if one of our providers has an outage.Network Providers
Too often providers operate their networks at three to four times responsible capacity. As a result, their corresponding transfer times reach over 300ms. Our network daily average is 27% of its capacity, with midday peak spikes reaching only 33% capacity. We guarantee clients will be carried off our network in less than 80ms over a five minute average at any time of day or night.
